Just got to see this movie, and I have to say I loved it completely. Didnt think I would like it as much as I do, but it charmed me. Great acting, performances and chemistry, interesting camera work and very very funny. Impressed with this movie. I might just see this again.

Cedar Rapid was pretty great. Very funny, great character development and arcs, love the actors in it. I was also surprised by just how sweet and charming it was. Super Awesome movie.

The Amazing Spider Man Review

So I went today to see The Amazing Spider man. I kinda had a slight panic attack walking to my theater because I was really worried that I had already killed the movie for myself before I saw it. Being a big Spider man fan I don’t want to not like the movie. It also didn’t help I really hate 500 Days Of Summer (Same Director). But I saw it, and I enjoyed it…Parts of it…I really enjoyed parts of it.

The opening bit I wasn’t crazy for, but once it got to adult Peter, I was into it…Until he gets bitten. Then I slowly started not liking Peter, and the way they went about telling the story. It’s rushed, and muttled and characters do really stupid things. One of my biggest complaints was I really wish they didn’t put the Lizard in the movie. His whole transformation is incredibly rushed, and his motivation is barely there. I like the Actor though, he’s Poof in the movie Human Nature (Charlie Kaufman). I wish they just focused on establishing things and a characters in this movie. Maybe put a minor Lillian as the focal issue in it. Then Bring the Lizard in the 2nd movie, make you care about the character more. He’s got kinda a tragic story, and they don’t really utilize it. That’s another issue I have with it. It rushes through the story so quickly that I don’t really get to care about any of the characters.

The best thing in the movie is Emma Stone who has the best lines in the movie and her character is very charming. Too bad she’s barely in it. Like I said before, if they just focused on relationships and the characters more, this would have been way better. I would have loved to see more of Peter and Gwen interacting. But people don’t want character development in summer movies, they want action.

I dunno, I don’t think it’s worth seeing in theaters. Netflix it or something. I don’t think ill see a sequel either in theaters unless they pick a really cool villain like Kraven or something.
